Mukhyamantri Samagra Gram Yojana UP for Border Villages Development

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has launched Mukhyamantri Samagra Gram Yojana Uttar Pradesh for holistic development of border villages. Government has launched this to provide benefits to those villages where  martyr’s village would be known as `Shaheed Gram’. Under mukhyamantri samagra gram yojana UP government will provide various facilities in border villages such as school, hospital, electricity and road.
Government has decided to introduce twenty four government schemes in these villages on a priority which include construction of roads, schools, hospitals and other basic facilities. Employment generation schemes will also be launched so that local residents could get job at their doorstep. People can also check Uttar Pradesh Government Scheme list here.

The state cabinet also gave its nod to reopen two closed sugar mills of Sugar Corporation. The government will pump in money in Pipraich and Munderwan sugar mills which were closed own in 2008 and 1999 respectively. A committee headed by CDO will monitor development in these villages. The government will provide extra funds for this scheme and if need be money from Legislature Area Fund (Vidhayak Nidhi) can also be used,
