Haryana Police launches online drive YASH (Youth Against Sexual Harassment) to check sexual harassment in the state. The main objective of this scheme is to secure eve-teasing prone hotspots through warning and helpline signage, CCTV, plainclothes traps and uniformed patrolling, seek the involvement of all.
The membership will be open till May 15 and will be limited to 5000 enthusiastic volunteers in every district. Care will be taken to ensure that it is representative of character and takes on board all sections of youth.
This scheme is to provide safety to the girls and the women of the state Haryana. The membership form can be filled till 15 May 2017.
