Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojna Bihar has been Issued by Chief Minister of Bihar
Nitish Kumar. The main moto of this scheme is to give benefit to the poor parents of the Bihar state. Under this scheme the Government provide financial assistance to the poor parents at the time of there daughters marriage.
The government of Bihar will provide Rs. 5000 to the poor families at the time of marriage under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana. The main objective of this scheme is to relax the burden of poor daughters parents.
Eligibility Criteria for Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana Bihar
1. Annual Income of poor parents should be less than 60,000.
2. Marriage must be done at the age of 18 years or more than 18 years.
3. Parents should belongs to BPL families.
4. SC/ST and other poor categories should get benefit under this scheme.
Aim of Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana Vihar
1. Parents should encourage towards girls education.
2. Maintain the equality between girls and boys.
3. Solve financially issues of poor families.
4. Encourage the women empowerment in the Bihar state.
5. Increase the ratio of birth of girls in the state.
6. Provide relaxation in the marriage expenses.
